I am so happy that you’re here to work on becoming the best version of you! Therapy is a powerful tool but can also be scary to begin. We are not meant to navigate life ups and downs alone so I am here to do it with you! My work is driven by my love of connection, community and self discovery. I am comfortable working with a wide range of symptoms and life experiences. During my time as a therapist thus far I have worked with children, adolescents and young adults. I have worked with anxiety, depression, interpersonal relationships, trauma, life transitions, mood disorders and grief. 
I believe that each client is the expert on their own life. Starting therapy can be a scary process but it can also be life changing. It may be slow at times but so rewarding.  I work together with my clients to create a safe, non-judgmental and empowering environment to navigate vulnerable thoughts and emotions.  We can explore what may be weighing you down and work through the uncomfortable feelings in order to achieve the life you want. By fostering self-awareness and encouraging deeper reflection I help my clients find clarity, resilience and fulfillment in their life. Whatever you may be struggling with, there is space for it.

Good Faith Estimate

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Your fee will be set according to a sliding scale, in collaboration with your therapist, prior to your first counseling session. Total costs depend upon the number of sessions you choose to utilize.

If you have private health insurance, please be aware that your costs for therapy may be less by using an in-network provider for your insurance company. This will depend upon your plan's deductible amounts and co-payments. In some cases, counseling at Shine a Light is less costly than using private insurance.

If you hope to use "out of network" benefits through your private insurance, please be aware that many plans will not reimburse for services provided by pre-licensed therapists (most of our staff).
